Towing Requirements Checklist
Before renting a towable vehicle from AZ Action Sports, please ensure your vehicle meets the following requirements for a safe and hassle-free experience.
✅ Vehicle Compatibility
- Your vehicle has the required towing capacity for the rental.
- Your vehicle is equipped with a properly rated hitch receiver.
- Your vehicle has a functioning trailer brake controller (if required).
- Your vehicle has a compatible 4-pin or 7-pin wiring harness for trailer lights.
✅ Hitch & Equipment
- Your hitch is rated for the total weight of the rental, including any additional gear or passengers.
- You have the correct size ball hitch (verify with us before pickup).
- Your hitch and connections are free of rust, cracks, or damage.
✅ Safety & Legal Requirements
- Your vehicle's registration, insurance, and license are up to date.
- Your vehicle complies with state towing laws (e.g., brake requirements, safety chains).
- You understand how to properly secure the trailer and safety chains.
- You are confident in towing and maneuvering the rental safely.
